Cape Build
I trained as an architect at the University of Cape Town, then completed a master's in furniture design and restoration before moving into construction project management — which is where I realised I preferred being on site to being behind a desk. That combination is where Cape Build gets its name, and it still shapes how I run every project: I think about a building the way an architect does, and I manage it the way twenty years on site has taught me to.
Since then I've led projects from £50k refurbishments to a £25m Grade II listed manor restoration, delivered bespoke interiors for Harrods in Knightsbridge, and built high-end homes across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, Buckinghamshire and London. I've lived in Summertown, Oxford for many years, and most of the projects I take on are close to home — which is exactly how I like it.

Structural and finishing work is covered by our workmanship guarantee, so you're protected long after we leave site.
Every project is signed off by Building Control before completion, with full documentation handed over to you.
Gas work is completed by Gas Safe registered engineers, and electrical work by NICEIC certified electricians.
My projects run across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds and Buckinghamshire — including Cheltenham, Henley, Goring, Marlow, Guildford and the surrounding market towns — as well as Chelsea, Knightsbridge and the rest of Greater London.
I keep my project count deliberately small, so I'm never spread thin. Most weeks, that means I'm on site personally, not checking in from a portfolio of jobs I've never visited.
